Hey Folks,

I hope your day is going well. I am doing great. A few weeks ago my partner got me roses. Last time, I made rose water with the petals, and I still had that so this time I decided to make rose honey.

Some of the benefits of roses according to the Herbal Academy roses can act as:

  • antidepressant
  • antispasmodic
  • aphrodisiac
  • astringent
  • antibacterial
  • antiviral
  • antiseptic
  • anti-inflammatory
  • blood tonic
  • cleansing
  • digestive stimulant
  • expectorant
  • increases bile production
  • kidney tonic
  • menstrual regulator

My favorite flowers are actually sunflowers, but I do find roses to be gorgeous. I was super excited to make this honey, and when I realized how easy it was, I thought about all the other recipes I could make into jellies.
