I am seeing a counselor that specializes in mindfullness and life coaching. She shares printables with me after every session that I work on each week. I wanted to share the ones that I thought could help other people. This week, the theme was about how to change. There are a lot of behaviors that I want to change, and this worksheet helps me pinpoint the problem and work on it. I wanted to share them through my favorite gifs.
1. Become aware of the behavior you want to change
2. Examine the reasons you developed the behavior in the beginning
3. Have compassion for what you’ve done in the past
4. Find new ways to meet your needs
5. Get Support
6. Make several attempts
7. Learn from your mistakes
8. Be persistent
While it will take a while to make the changes, I feel like I now I have to tools to track the behavior, so I am not going through life in a fog. I will share the ones I feel like can help others. What are some ways you feel you can change bad behavior?
