“Vegan Donuts Simpsonized are a great fun breakfast idea, or something just for a snack. Simple ingredients, and easy to make”

Peace Fam!

Hoping this post finds you well. I wanted to share this recipe with you. These are basic donuts, but I used some icing and sprinkles to create the recipe. This recipe for vegan donuts can be applied to make other donut recipes, you can simply change the frosting or the food coloring and even the sprinkles.

While I am mostly a plant based vegan, I really believe you can have cheat days and eat some sugary snacks. Everything in moderation, right? These donuts don’t skimp on the flavor, and while some vegan recipes call for ingredients that may not be readily available, these are all easily found at your local grocery store.

So try this recipe, and remix it as much as you like. I loved it, and will continue to make more. Please leave your comments if you make it below or on my social media.

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350F (180C). Lightly grease a donut baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together all the dry ingredients.
  3. In a medium bowl mix together all the wet ingredients. Now add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not over mix, lumps are totally cool.
  4. Scoop the batter into a large ziplock bag and cut the corner off of the bag. Alternatively, use a pastry bag. Pipe the batter into the donut pan, dividing it evenly among the 6 donuts wells.
  5. Bake for 10 to 14 minutes until the donuts have fluffed up and bottoms are lightly browned. Take out of the oven and cool for 5 minutes then flip the donuts over so the bottoms can steam off a bit and don't hold too much moisture.
