It was my birthday recently, and my boyfriend surprised me with this fancy pants blender.  He got me a number of things, but I am totally in love with this machine. The first thing I wanted to do was make a smoothie, so I found this banana mango smoothie recipe from Family Fresh Meals.

 

I chose mangos because I keep seeing them on sale. I have never grown mangos, but I assume this season is almost over, and there is an excess supply. I was able to get them 10 for $10!

This banana mango smoothie is simple and super easy to make. I didn’t use frozen food. Just added an ice cube and drank it like a G. Recipe is below. Thank you!

 

Banana Mango Smoothie

Serves: 1 Cooking Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup mangos
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk

Instructions

Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. You can use frozen fruit or ice to make it cold.
